Nice Place Many Picnic areas, shekter houses and Cabinet to rent 2 RV parking lots and boat ramp to river.... River is not a deep river!!

While somewhat small, this is a very beautiful park. It's a nice change from the usual Iowa scenery, and there's some nice variety with a small river, a campground and some forest. I've filmed a couple of location shoots for short films here.
Looks like they've added quite a lot of things since I was a kid. Was really great roaming around and seeing the place. Thanks for keeping this park going. It's a real Gem in NW Iowa!
We loved this place! Spent the weekend in a couple of cabins with a Veterans group. Nice walking trails, cabins are nice, quiet atmosphere.
